Everybody’s a critic..

People are so harsh really, I had a 50 word limit for the review and I already went past that. I didn’t get to write a full length review for the album like I got to do with ATC’s but I did the best that I could do with such word limit.

And seriously what parts of “nothing short of magnificent, and to say it is anything less than that would be a crime.” and “Reasons To Leave is definitely one of the best releases to come out of the Singapore music scene this year.” make it sound like its a negative review?

I’m sorry I haven’t reached the stage in my writing to be able to write like Yeow Kai Chai and I don’t have the balls to be a bitch of a critic yet.

Ah screw this, say whatever the fuck you want.

Why you jumpin at ese’ bitches, I ain’t hear them mention you.

I think its really sad when people try to bring up things that happened 3 years ago like it still matters, makes you wonder how meaningless and sad their lives are that they have to “brag” about events like it was the most exciting thing they’d witnessed.

Oh just go on and say whatever you want young naive one, I could hardly care. It may have been a scandal to you but it meant more than that to me for it taught me a great lesson about life and the people you surround yourself with. I honestly would not change a thing because at least I’m truly happy and not surrounded by fake plastic trees.

If you didn’t quite know, Karma’s a bitch baby. So do yourself a favour and stick your nose in your own business. You’ll have a lot of drama to deal with at the rate you’re going.

The IT Crowd

Spent most of the day watching “The IT Crowd” online. Bloody brilliant I tell you. If you need a good laugh go check it out. Its kind of like a British Big Bang Theory and I wouldn’t be surprised if CBS used elements of the show as inspiration for BBT after NBC failed to create a proper American spin off. This is just an assumption of course but Geek based comedies ftw for sure.

Richard Ayoade who plays Moss on the show also happened to direct one of my favourite The Last Shadow Puppets songs.

As well as this Vampire Weekend song that I’ve grown quite fond of.

I apologise for not being around alot nowadays, some of you might know what’s up. We’re doing okay and will probably be up and running again in Jan. That felt really awkward to write. What I essentially mean is you’ll see us around more often once Jan kicks in. We’ll probably almost be completely back to normal by then.

Ronny and I just wanna wish all our friends a Merry Xmas and A Happy New Year! We’ll see you guys in 2009!

The bubble pops..

I think when your soul searches for like-minded individuals and you finally meet people like that after a long dry spell, your mind just chooses to believe that they’re bigger than life. I’m trying to spell this out in as little words as possible because I don’t particularly like being open about certain aspects of my life here on wordpress. I leave the important details for LJ only. To blatantly put it, they were awesome, but I’ve come to realise they’re pretty normal. I’m in awe of their commitment to their craft and I wish I knew more people our age that took their goals as seriously as these guys do. People who are willing to risk it all to make something happen. I have nothing but respect for them for this. But it ends there. Nothing else.

Seriously one of the funniest talk shows ever. Starhub is seriously making a huge mistake. Dropping BBC Entertainment is a mistake. Shooting Stars, The Catherine Tate Show, Waking the Dead, Absolutely Fabulous, French & Saunders, The Graham Norton Show, Little Britain, Later with Jool Holland, Goodness Gracious Me, The Young Ones, The Black Adder Series, After You’ve Gone, My Family, My Hero, Red Dwarf, so many fucking awesome shows and they’re dropping it. Bollocks I tell you, absolute bollocks.
